Nikon D type screen has no fresnel lense which I think explains the darker corners? I've read that B type is basically a D type with fresnel lense. Would there be an advantage with using B type in this application? Also, where is the best (cheapest) place to find groundglass with no markings (split screen, hash marks etc) Best Regards, Bill
The Fresnel could be seen as a texture, especially on HD. No, i think ( not tested yet ) the distance Groundglass-cameralens must be about 2 inches minimum. For seeking Groundglasses use ebay, its the best place to find cheap ones. Other DIYs are talking of Canon EE-S Groundglass, search them too ?!
