Chris Matthews vs. Tim Phillips from "Americans for Prosperity"

Chris Matthews interviews self-described "free market consevrative" Tim Phillips, president of Americans for Prosperity. Chris begins the interview by asking if he's a "birther," then later in the interview, when asked to "hold on," Chris says "Don't do this hold on crap with me, buddy." In other words, he gets the "Hardball" royal treatment. Phillips is told that his party is "good at playing negative politics" and that they did nothing about health care when Bush was in office.

I was working in Toronto Canada and I was paying 30 dollars a month for my private health insurance through my company but now I work in buffalo New York and now I have to pay 180 dollars a month for health insurance with the company I work for now.

In Canada, my income tax rate was 15% and now working in the buffalo new York ; my income tax rate is 22% plus I am spending a lot of money on private insurance

@oceans19711 Look ocean, Phillips NEVER answered the key question, namely the habit of millions of people who can afford some kind of health ins.but don't buy it using instead the ER room. They then weasel out of paying thus spreading the cost around to everyone else. In efffect, the rest of us are mandated to pay more to cover  those deadbeats. Matthews rightly gets frustrated with a-holes like this guy. See my point?

I like Matthews but this was a distasteful interview on his part. Phillips held his own and was stayed calm. No need for Matthews to yell though I do get what he was trying to say. I agree with Matthews on Healthcare completely.
