I laughed myself sick introducing the dogs to this thing. I *did* follow their directions so you are not seeing the whole thing - this was the funny bits!

Anything basically. I know someone who is using it for flyball. You can use for agility, crate training, etc. Just about anything you want!

If you conditioned your dog to it properly, it can be a useful tool. Aussies are often sound sensintive as your dog is showing here. Perhaps you needed to start by dropping kibble into the bowl to show him what the sound it and it won't startle him. Once he's conditioned to it, then you could try the MM. Also, you could also ask your dog for a behavior first. That way he will be expecting a marker sound before the reward.

mainly to teach dogs not to bark and jump on someone when visitors come to the front door. I, however, had more fun just *torturing* my dogs with it!

It dispenses kibble - remotely. I have the remote in my hand. It's a training tool that I had fun using to mess with my dog's minds.
