DeVondia - Southern AIDS Living Quilt

DeVondia Age: 37 Hometown: Charlotte, NC Year of Diagnosis: 2003 Her Story: After being diagnosed with HIV, DeVondia vowed to devote her restored life to educating other young women in Charlotte, North Carolina about protecting themselves and learning to live with the disease. Today, she encourages these women and their families to learn more about HIV/AIDS by knowing their status and taking their future in their own hands. Her motto is A person will take you as far as you allow them to.
