@MRGTi5 the events of Halo are set about 525 years from now. Advances in technology allowed humans to use more abundant materials, such as hydrogen, for fuel.

I never understood why in the end of Halo 2, the grunts and hunters are on the Elites side, and then in Halo 3 they are back to fighting against you.

You ever wonder where the pelican pilots get their fuel and such? I mean c'mon...

@TheGuilleSuit Well, I don't know about the Pelican, but in Forza 4, Jeremy Clarkson says that the Warthog is fueled by some kind of hydrogen engine. I assume that since Halo is set over 500 years from now, they've probably developed many new technologies. And plus, the UNSC has colonized hundreds of planets. I'm sure there's one out there made of mostly crude oil.

@Lionheart1188 yeah but nobody really counts that as an "official" Halo game. You are right, though.

help me out guys i don't have halo 3 but i want it badly my queston is that why are the elites good in halo 3 but in halo reach we are suposted to shoot them up im confused
crashtest244 4 months ago
@crashtest244 Since Reach was the prequel to the whole series, the elites are your enemy. Chronologically, it's Reach, Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 3. Between Halo 2 and Halo 3, the elites had a civil war with the Covenant, and so they switched sides, helping the humans.
