Roman Catholicism claims to be the only "one true church." Is it? The answer is, obviously, no. In fact, it's not even a Christian church. It is a pagan Ward with some Christian material in it.

The Roman Catholic Church puts a great deal of emphasis on it's earthly Organization. In other words, the Roman Catholic Church worships its Organization instead of Jesus. The non-Christian cult, the Roman Catholic Church, leads many Roman Catholics to believe that Jesus built His church upon a movable and unstable rock: Peter. It doesn't take much studying to realize that Jesus was referring to Himself, in Matt. 16:18, as the rock.

For the Roman Catholic Church to call itself a Christian church, much less the "one true church," is utterly pathetic.

The true church is the true body of true believers in the true Christ. These Christians are found in any Christian Church that hold to the core essential doctrines of Christianity (i.e. justification by grace through faith, the deity of Christ, the Trinity, and that there is only one God in all existence).

  • @MegaCobra74 It's a matter of historical fact that the church founded by Christ is what became known as the Catholic Church over the centuries. You have to keep in mind that until the protestant revolt, there was only one Church for Christians to participate in...so it was just the Church. The Catholic designator had to be used once the protestants started setting up their ecclesial groups. A convert from Anglicanism, John Henry Newman said "to be deep in history is to cease to be protestant."

  • @ACDsRandomness2 - In my understanding Jesus is the son of god and not "a god" himself, Jesus was a prophet. Mary is oftimes referred to as the "mother of god"!! that’s incorrect, Mary was the mother of Jesus and not god (jehovah, yahweh) or whatever you want to call it/him/her.

  • @Bugsbunny8147 I went through the middle ages down to the reformation, the popes were miles away from the truths preached by the Apostles, what 'deposit of faith' are you talking about :) There are still 50 plus dogmas on cue for confirmation, and most of them are horrific strange doctrines. :( People can't tell their right hand from the left.

  • @Bugsbunny8147 If we go back to the early century christians, Cyprian never agreed on the idea of having a pope, and majority of RCC popes would be ashamed of themselves for luring the non-elects to believe teachings not preached or in line with the apostles just to be involved in the crusades. Filter out the wrong dogmas, then RCC will end up just having a chief presbyter not a pope.

  • @corkystorky I could list more RCC dogmas anti-Gospel, gives me a headache. Besides, I'm not LUTHERAN, never will be. I don't agree with his version of John 1:1, but I admire his 95 theses.

  • @corkystorky dogmas 158. It is permissible and profitable to venerate the Saints in Heaven, and to invoke their intercession. 159.It is permissible and profitable to venerate the relics of the Saints. 160.It is permissible and profitable to venerate images of the Saints. 161.The living Faithful can come to the assistance of the Souls in Purgatory by their intercessions (suffrages).--- ALL NOT IN THE SPIRIT OF THE TRUE GOSPEL. :)

  • @corkystorky dogma 150.In the final decision on doctrines concerning faith and morals the Church is infallible. What? It should be the head, Jesus Christ, God's Word not the 'body' that is infallible. Doctrines must strictly be in sound agreement with what the Apostles preached.

  • @corkystorky dogma 147.The Pope is infallible when he speaks ex cathedra. Really? Then how come the Limbo is declared untrue by your current pope benedict 16th?

  • @corkystorky dogma 108. Mary was assumed body and soul into Heaven. Just another fiction forced by the council authenticated by an RCC pope. Scriptural? Definitely no. Can be proven beyond reasonable doubt? What else can I say? It's horrible they call themselves successors of Peter, kinds of them who invent such.

  • dogma 103.Mary was conceived without stain of Original sin. The pope presiding a council that teaches this is a clear breakaway from the Apostolic Gospel. It's interesting they burned a lot of people who tried to translate and read the bible in their own language the English.

  • dogma # 79. The Holy Virgin is the Mother of God since she truly bore the God-Logos become Flesh. (Not a single Apostolic or Early Church or Church Father claimed this teaching). I have read Church History by Schaaf, Kuiper, etc. and read the writings of the Ante-Nicene, Nicene, and post-Nicene Fathers, FYI bugs (so as not to boast). dogma 102. Mary is truly the Mother of God. This statement undermines the scripture: 'the TWO shall become one flesh', if Mary was virgin, then she's no mother.

  • Dogmas are not invented but made clearer and defined form what was already believed. Indulgences were always practiced, it simply didn't have a name until heresy reared it's ugly head where it needed to be named and properly defined.
