Yay! I finally got something done! Making this video was fun, I had lots of ideas and for a change, Vegas wasn't any trouble working with this time :)

I'm going to use this video as my entry for MeLinasPassion's "The Sky Is The Limit" challenge.

*Favourite Characters: I prefer strong characters, those that may keep up facades for the sakes of others, whose actions can be interpreted in many ways when making a video; like Lighting (FFXIII), Cloud (FFVII), Yuna (FFX) and Basch (FFXII). I also like minor characters because they can be very interesting.
*Hated Characters: Hyper, weak characters. I don't really hate any, but tend to really dislike the villains in some cases (movies etc), e.g. Seymour in Final Fantasy X. Couldn't stand him. :x
*Videos I like to edit the most: Instrumentals, cross-overs, drama; mainly everything that could be seen as having a "message". I like to edit to songs in which I can focus on either the tune only or rely strongly on the lyrics, especially if I can easily link the lyrics to the characters and the themes.
*Major weak point: I can absolutely not edit fast songs or songs with a strong beat (at least in Vegas), and I can only use effects to emphasize things, not rely on effects alone to influence the mood etc of the video significantly.
*Strong point: I (believe I) have a feeling for tunes, lyrics, and that I can easily make things "fit" together in a video. I'm also good at creating a good flow in a video and expressing story and emotions of a character.

[Story:]
Lightning as the narrator, characters as their respective selves, Serah = Yuna.

Many centuries ago, the World was protected by the Great Goddess. From her High Tower far in the North, she watched over her people, giving wealth and wisdom to those who deserved it.
But one fateful day, she was betrayed by one of her guards. Envying the Goddess' power, he slew her.
Darkness came upon the World, for without the protection of the Goddess, nothing stood against the Forces of Evil.

Now, ages later, time has come for the Goddess' descendant to rise and free the World. Lightning has been chosen to find her and protect her on her journey, together with six other warriors.
The young Summoner is the only one who can put an end to the reign of Darkness, but in order to gain full strength, she has to travel to the Tower in which her ascendant once lived.
On the way with her are seven great Warriors of Light, to protect her - and reclaim their pure hearts.

Lightning - whose Pride made her a great warrior, but also an arrogant and quick-tempered woman.
Cloud - whose Wrath has always served protection, but also continues to endanger his friends.
Balthier - whose Greed has made him a rich and powerful man, but also selfish and uncaring.
Snow - whose Gluttony has made him strong, but also diverts his mind from the actual world.
Sephiroth - whose Lust has made him beautiful, but also taken him to use people as he wills.
Ashe - whose Sloth has made her Queen, but also taken her husband and land away from her.

Finally, Tidus - whose Envy made him slay the Goddess. The traitor is still among them, but supposedly turned from evil to good.
As the pilgrimage goes on, relationships grow and fall apart. While Cloud and Sephiroth always get into fights, Lightning and Snow cannot decide if they feel love or hate for each other and Ashe and Balthier grow closer, Yuna and Tidus fall deeply in love with each other.

Upon arriving at the bottom of the High Tower, Lightning sees Yuna and Tidus kissing. Not believing in true love but only in Tidus' evil intentions, she shoots him. Yuna, blinded with rage and sadness, climbs the Tower and curses her party.
"I doom you!"
She jumps, casting a spell, to kill herself. Lightning jumps after her - but comes too late. At the bottom of the Tower, Yuna's broken body is retrieved and turns into a crystal shortly after.
With her death, the World is damned, and the Forces of Evil take over completely.

But i didnt agree with the placing of sins to characters D: even if u went and wrote a separate story for it, istill know their own individual sins cause im a h-core fan boi ._.

@Gildin I havent finished the story of the latest FF cause of university and work full time... doesnt leave much time to go buy a system and play ._. So yea... my reshuffle is definitly lacking and biased because of that.

Balthier - Greed fits very nicely, but u could also say lust.

Cloud - Envy (envies the life of Zack to the point he thinks he is Zack, wrath... The only

Sephy - Wrath, no doubts. After what shinra, or in his eyes, 'the world' did to "mother" or Jenova... Yea he went all crazy [:

Ashe - Pride, she is a "queen" and often would have the air about her that she was above others.

Tidus - Lust, alot of his actions were fueled by his 'love at first site' or lust for Yuna.

3:16 I used Masking; that means I had two layers with two different clips and cut out Lightning from the top layer to that it looks like she's jumping. It can't be done in all Sony Vegas versions I think, but defo in 7, 8 and 9. There's lots of tutorials here on YT on how it's done!
