  • instead of using 4 D batteries could i use a 9.6v RC battery?

  • Yes, 9.6 would run it a little faster. I would actually like to convert to those when I find a good price. Every year this project gets better because I find better ways to do things.

  • Where do you get the thing that holds the batteries?

  • I get most of my electrical components from kelvin.com. There are lots of other places if you want to look.

  • @ThePurpleAndy As long as the negative an positive ends are correctly connected, you should be ok.

  • is it important if the batters are parellel

  • could u take apart a ps2 controller and use that or could u use an rc controller somehow

  • does it matter wat kind of wire you need for the x

  • the X's make it so we have forward and reverse

  • @pengashwebb0121 I picked up what look like exactly the same switches at Radio Shack
