This was a tune which was very popular with guitar players on the folk scene in the 1960s. If you could play this you were a 'made man' and the world was your oyster. That's why I have finished up with so many pearls. It is sometimes known as Anji as well as Angie.
I've doubled tracked my guitar as you may notice and have put a slightly different effect on the second guitar to give the sound a bit more body.
That was superb.
Any tips for learning this one?
I'm a pick player and i'm learning fingerstyle. Any books you'd
recommend etc.. I've looked at a few youtube lessons for Anji and still can't get into the groove, I suspect that
I'm either not hittin enough treble notes or my timings all out or both!
I now see why it's a barrier for many guitarists.
Thanks,
Brian

You're guitar playing is at the level I'd love to be at. Okay babe, how long have you been playing and where did you learn? I've been playing over 40 years but mostly rythem. I own two guitars, one Strat and one Estephan acoustic/electric. I hope to be getting a John Lennon Epiphone soon. My email: Petescharm@aol.com. Hope to hear from you soon.
