I suggest you read the quran and sunnah and do not let the others tell you what to think without you checking for yourself. Allah(swt) refers to the christians and the Jews in a very respectful manner, you are called "people of the book". Just ask god to guide you sincerely and whenever you ask something sincerely your lord will grant you it.
