@tvnutboy - I really don't remember. I wrote this theme late in 1989 and it started airing in January 1990.

@curtismckonly - Thanks for advising. This probably means the prior "Late Show" opening must've lasted a very long time.

I remember this intro...great CGI/music, and having the Late Show logo rise from the water was def a nice touch!
