  • what's a stretchy stitch? that's doesn't show holes and stuff, (for crocheting?)

haha, that's A LOT of yarn. woww

  • It's hard to do any stitches with a stretch. One way is to crochet in the opposite direction. Like going left to right instead of up and down. So when you are done, all the rows are sideways. Crocheting stretches from top to bottom.

For hats a good one is is the shell stitch, I would say. It's what I use for the brims.

  • I wish I could knit! ahaha, how much would you charge to knit a Gryffindor hat and mittens?

    :D

  • hat= 10 bucks + shipping.

  • Do you have a profile on raverly.com you can post your yarn on there up for swap since you have so many. and it helps to catergories them too.

  • Ever considered taking up weaving? I've heard that weaving using heavier yarns, or doubling thinner yarns eats up stashes of yarn very quickly. Maybe make a bed quilt or chair throw out of a variety of yarns - then you can admire and use them at the same time!

  • I feel the same way! Yarn is taking over, but I like it so why not surround myself with it.

  • i wanted to see it not hear about it show me the goods

  • I do the same thing with other things I buy. Oohh, cool! I want that! Then put it away and hardly look at it, until I see something else that I "need" lol

  • oh, sweetie, that's a BABY stash. You can always message me and I'll tell you how you can send it all to me if you don't want it.

  • You could also use a larger sized needle then what you worked with in the brim and that should make it stretchy , hope that helps.
