Theres no problem with sampling very OLD songs and making a hit with it. There is a problem with artists sampling songs from a couple years ago. As you can see from lupe's shit version, he basically just used Imonsters version.

Wallace Collection originaly made it.
Then IMonster sampled it.
Then Lupe sampled Imonster.
If you notice the other songs predate Lupe's
The female voice was added by Lupe, as it is absent in all versions, being that they were guy groups.
This is the problem with sampling. Artist sample other artists, but since they pay the royalties they dont exactly have to say that they sampled someone so people think that they created it. Artists need to publicly acredit the songs that they sample from

Lupe is the worst rapper ever. I was really pissed that he tried to sing over Imonster daydream in blue. The song was a real big hit in 2001

no its not a mixture of IMonster's daydream in blue. It IS lupe fiasco's song "Daydream" feat. Jill Scott.
