Consumerism! The Musical is a satire and celebration of the culture we live in.

A new short from Whitestone Motion Pictures.
You can download the ipod version at:
www.whitestonemotionpictures.com

"This film is as much about myself than it is about anyone else. It's a satire on the way I sometimes live my life, even when I know better. I think the best satire is internal, much like we did for Smiling Addiction. It's less about being preachy, more about projecting myself into a farcical world."
-Brandon McCormick, Director

  • Notice how at the end of the video it's dark, he's alone, depressed, and has nothing left. That's how it is in the real world. You eventually run out of money to feed your addiction and lose everything, including the "friends" you tried to buy.

  • wow.... my religion teacher sent me here for this?

  • damn it! now I have to write a 500 word essay reflecting on the "message" of this video....fml

  • to have living standards that give us quality of life comparable to what we have today, we need very little money. think about it. 20 years ago, only the wealthiest could afford cell phones which were basic and bulky. to buy one of them today, someone on minimum wage only needs to work for one hour. the only thing that's stopping me from making the leap is caring too much about what others think of me

  • What ridiculous little puppets we are and what a sick twisted stage we dance on. How much fun we have dancing and fucking, not a care in the world. Not knowing that we are nothing. We are not what was intended.

  • @b4ckstr33t ...My religion teacher also sent me here...
