the reason why generation 5 is the way it is and by that I mean entirely unrelated to previous gens is so that gamefreak can develop and design off of it, they want mopre and will give more if they kept adding evolutions to old pokemon, no pokemon would be stand alone which some people may like but personally i think goes against the original feel. black and white are stepping stones for future games

In my honest opinion the last stage looks to much like Charizard, And there is also the fact that a Dragon type would be way to overpowered for a starter. Because its one weakness could not be used against it unless the Fire starter is also an Ice starter. And as a final note was the 5th gen really that bad? Lets face it if this was the starter everyone would be complaining the same thing I just did and say the design is crap. Im sorry if thats mean and im not trying to be. just an honest crit.

Just Awesome, The Weakness doesn't matter compared to other Awesome Pkmn with great weakness, For Example (Gyarados Electric x4, Dragonite Ice x 4, Charizard Rock x 4) And everyone still loving them, so let bring the chance to this little cute Grass/Dragon Pkmn =)
