ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਖਸਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿਆ ॥
सतिगुर विटहु वारिआ जितु मिलिऐ खसमु समालिआ ॥
Saṯgur vitahu vāri▫ā jiṯ mili▫ai kẖasam samāli▫ā.
I am a sacrifice to the True Guru; meeting Him, I have come to cherish the Lord Master.

ਜਿਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਦੀਆ ਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੀ ਜਗਤੁ ਨਿਹਾਲਿਆ ॥
जिनि करि उपदेसु गिआन अंजनु दीआ इन्ही नेत्री जगतु निहालिआ ॥
Jin kar upḏes gi▫ān anjan ḏī▫ā inĥī neṯrī jagaṯ nihāli▫ā.
He has taught me and given me the healing ointment of spiritual wisdom, and with these eyes, I behold the world.

ਖਸਮੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਲਗੇ ਡੁਬੇ ਸੇ ਵਣਜਾਰਿਆ ॥
खसमु छोडि दूजै लगे डुबे से वणजारिआ ॥
Kẖasam cẖẖod ḏūjai lage dube se vaṇjāri▫ā.
Those dealers who abandon their Lord and Master and attach themselves to another, are drowned.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਬੋਹਿਥਾ ਵਿਰਲੈ ਕਿਨੈ ਵੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥
सतिगुरू है बोहिथा विरलै किनै वीचारिआ ॥
Saṯgurū hai bohithā virlai kinai vīcẖāri▫ā.
The True Guru is the boat, but few are those who realize this.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ॥੧੩॥
करि किरपा पारि उतारिआ ॥१३॥
Kar kirpā pār uṯāri▫ā. ||13||
Granting His Grace, He carries them across. ||13||
