In the case of where I'm from, pilots of the Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet or Canadian Snowbirds are active pilots who, when called to, will be actively engaged in a war or battle. To fly in a deomnstration team is seen as an opportunity to fly some cool aircrafts anf manouvers, as well as hone your skills even further
