St. Augustine - Original

An original jazz-waltz inspired by a recent visit to St. Augustine, FL... St. Augustine is a city originally founded by the Spanish, so most of the buildings are hundreds of years old. As such, the mood of this piece is nostalgic and a little playful (I segue into multiple keys -- A major/minor, E minor, and F minor, among others). Also, given how old the city is, I tried to musically capture the passage of time by reharmonizing the opening melody twice, a technique that I hope adds harmonic interest to the piece. Please excuse the cicada noises in the background, I wasn't able to edit them out. Hope you enjoy the piece regardless!

Thats cool. It's a really historical place. My family and I go there all the time... I like Reiply's Beilieve it or not. Yeah I know! I live like 5min a way from the beach.
