HOW TO:
1. Open your AM radio...
2. Wrap a coil of insulated wire around your ferrite bar approx. 6-8 times.
3. Connect the two ends of that coil to each other.
4. Connect a shortwave antenna to the same connections as step 3. (I used a 40 foot longwire antenna which is just a long piece of wire. not grounded or anything special)
5. Tune your capacitors (In my case its an Variable-Air capacitor) until you can tune and hear as many SW stations in one place.
6. The rest is up to you... Tuning this thing is weird, because it depends on where the coil is on your ferrite bar... If you move the coil around you might get stronger signal.
