On arriving home from my first ever trip to Clapham Common I decided to make this profoundly simple little quotes video dedicated to ever present memory. It's nothing special but I hope you like it. The song is sung by Jeremy Brett (taken from the Twiggy Show).
The quotes are from various sources (including Pritchard's book).

  • Very good advices, thank you Mr.Brett, where ever you are.

I'm a little lost with my life right now, but this gives me hope: to know that even the great ones have/had the same problems as I do. Thank you for this inspirating video! :)

  • @LuRawen

Glad to hear Jeremy is a source of comfort in a difficult time for you.

  • Rebecca, this was just beautiful. Besides enjoying watching Jeremy act, I love hearing what is in his soul. What a loving, spiritual man! Thank you for posting this.

  • I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The quotes and his wonderful singing really inspired me to go outside alone somewhere new. Sounds a simple task but up until then one I have never done. I'll never forget that day stepping out of the train, walking along the platform of Clapham Common station, all the while listening to Jeremy.

  • Quote at 1:35 is beautiful. I couldn't decide between sobbing and laughing, so I did a bit of both. Both brilliant and profound, my dear Jeremy. ;P

He reminds me of Leonard Nimoy, in that he is very very open about his feelings, his life, and his thoughts about everything. We need more people of such a nature in the world...people who are not afraid of themselves. Thank you. (AND HE SINGS LIKE AN ANGEL!)

  • Yes, I agree, he always was a very emotional man. Oh and I agree a simply beautiful singing voice.

  • Excuse me for my english. It's very bad.

But I must say, what all here say: Jeremy was a wonderful person, who died to early. All words, what he said are absolutly true. He was a so intelligent man, a spiritual man. But just the people, who be fogotten are really dead. Jeremy will live so long, how just one man in the world is thinking of him.

Jeremy knowed a lot about the life, what many people today don't know. We must an example of Jeremy taking. An example of his Spirit.

    beautiful quotes

  • Oh, the dear-heart Jeremy. If he is up there walking, I am certain that you have made his day with this bit of magic.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! I adore the song and this is one of the most beautiful renditions of it I've ever heard...

  • The man could also actually sing!

    Beautiful song too.

    Thanks for posting,

    c.

  • I love this video! I faved it. I've been trying to find this song forever but I can't find the version with him singing...

  • Thank you for this beautiful video.

Jeremy Brett was an amazing man, handsome, talented, intelligent, spiritual, and very inspirational; and I just found out that he sang beautifully too.

Such lovely inspirational quotes combined with such lovely music on a video about such a lovely person. You made my day. I thank you for that!

  • I have no doubt at all that Jeremy is still charming the folks on the other side and is with his loved ones. Our loss is their gain

    xx

  • Such a beautiful friendship that lives between Edward and Jeremy! Seeing this makes me seeing again what makes their Sherlock Holmes and Watson so maginificent: the fact that the most important and most beautiful part of the Holmes-concept, a irreplacable friendship, hadn't any need to be acted since it already existed. Because this is so alike the reality, Holmes and Watson come so much alive!!!
