lol actually your the 'fucking stupid' one. ace 4 is better in that situation since it has two cards to a straight. ace 7 one has one card to a straight. against pocket 10s, both hands have equal chance of hitting an ace, also have equal chance of hitting trips with the 4 or 7 kicker. so in this case ace 4 is better because of a straight. know odds before you make yourself look dumb.

Because AJ connects with a lower or higher straight.
