On the heels of President Obamas prime time press conference and continued push for comprehensive health care reform, Health Care for America Now (HCAN) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) launched a $500,000 television advertising campaign in eight states targeting a Senator and seven members of Congress who oppose health care reform legislation. The ad points out that in voting against reform, the members of Congress would allow health insurance companies to continue to deny people coverage for pre-existing conditions.

  • Go to Cantors site here on youtube. Doesn't believe in freedom of speech unless he likes what you post. He speaks against government funding on abortions. Then don't btch because your going to be taxed more due to the overwhelming welfare burden if its kept and DONT btch about healthcare reform because these unborn babies you love so much will need medical care as well as the mother who cant find work, nor afford a babysitter even if she could. GOD I had hypocrites! Especially political ones.

  • Man alive that's stupid korieanne830. It's the insurance companies who are rejecting us for pre-conditions like cancer. My own father was rejected for certain procedures even though he had coverage. The healthcare industry has become a multi-billion dollar industry. This is going to be painful but these changes must happen if we expect to be competitive in the world market. We are far behind other industrialized nations with much better healthcare plans than ours.

  • Are you referring to government employee government run health care plan? The same one that our representatives in Washington have. Basically the same plan that we would be allowed to sign onto? Hmmmmmmm

  • Spread the fear, fringie. .

  • Republicans are just really powerful, really evil, and really anti-American lobbyists.

And Eric Cantor is definitely a self-loathing closet-gay.

  • This is paid for by government employees union dues. Yes, those same government employees who want to keep THEIR Cadillac health plans, but want to throw the rest of us into government health care. Nice...

Good enough for thee, but not for me!

The rest of us have the right to representation too and we are saying NO! We need real reform, not government control!

  • The health care they get and what Obama is offering are no where the same thing. The country can't afford it. Nor can every working person can't afford to be taxed 60% of their pay for jst a few.

The reform should be for the handfull of people that refuse to buy health care till after their health goes down hill.

  • They have government payed and run Health Care but they don't want it for you. Hypocrites
