London, Ontario Urban Improv Stop and Stare

We had our very first Urban Improv "action" on Saturday, June 21, 2008. At a prearranged time and place, in this instance, Richmond Row, we were to stop whatever we were doing and stare up at the sky, pointing or using binoclulars or shading our eyes. We had to freeze in place for three minutes and not speak to anyone asking us what we were looking at. It might be more interesting if after a set period time, the planned participants leave all around the same time, after saying something in common out loud, such as "Space ships are never on time" or "Quack, quack....ducks can't fly". The people who just happened to be there would be baffled more than they already are. Just a thought.
