@yinloveyang Matt is definatly not as good as David (no one can be) but the show is now ok. Moffat (the new head writer) made the show a whole lot worse.

I started watching DW a half year ago for the first time but I stopped watching after David left. But I want to see DW with Matt one day.

@EdHardy2552 I know! He sacrifices so much, loves so much, and loses so much. I think that if he was just immortal, like Jack, and didn't regenerate, he wouldn't be able to cope with it - it's only because he's able to sort of become a new person, and start again that he is able to compartmentalize the losses and so keep going.

@EdHardy2552 I suppose he figured that she deserved a normal life, the type he could never have, but that the clone Doctor could, with her. Don't get me wrong, I think that really killed him, but maybe it was for the best. What really gets me is that, given a second chance, they STILL didn't say a proper goodbye! I mean, he leaves while she's kissing the clone! Maybe that's ok for her, because she's still sort of got him, but dammit he needed the peace of mind that would've given him.
