After 4 years of sitting, I replaced my fuel hoses, drained the tank, changed to oil, new batteries, new starter, new lift pump, fixed my trans(long story), installed OEM supports and a new flywheel/flexplate(end of trans story), resealed t-case, and installed a non-EGR intake manifold from a HMMWV. I wish I took a vid of the 1st start, but I was too excited about getting it running. This starting is probably two hours after 1st engine start. Sorry about the ugly dude at the end. That'd be me.

  • @afamousperson Yeah, its a lightbar on the Blazer. I volunteer as a paramedic and used to vol as a firefighter. The rack I mentioned was on the Dodge Charger in the background.

  • It sat just outside my front door until that day. The video was taken a few hours after it's first startup. When it was initially fired up it smoked like crazy for a few minutes, causing my neighbors to bitch until I moved it to the middle of the parking lot.

  • 4 years of sitting my ass, probably a couple of hours

Well, the truck sat for 4 years up until that day. I had to do a ton of work to it, but that's probably two hours after the first time it ran since 4 yrs ago. Now it runs like a champ.

  • Police car?

  • @kwysSAN

.....no, that Charger isn't a cop car. The rack on top is for kayaks.
