Brilliant idea combining these two. Bladerunner owes a lot to Metropolis (putting it politely) but the Vangelis score seems to have been written for this piece. Beautiful choice of edits.

because the robot has become more beautiful to the elite but one man can see the death that lies behind the machine ,
you have to see the whole film to get that metaphor
