This is a combo "what's in your camera bag" and review of the Domke F-5XC.

In my prior review of the F-5XB, I'd done some complaining about the lack of slightly bigger options in the Domke lineup. I mentioned the "C", but at the time, I didn't think it would work for me. Wrong. So, I got one, and here is how I've set it up and what I can carry in it.

Note: this HD video was shot on a Leica D-LUX4 (highly recommended).

  • I froze when the M2 almost fell off the table!! Great video and excellent gear!

  • @quinstamatic Hehe. I think it looked closer from the camera angle than it was in reality. "No cameras were harmed in the making of this video". Thanks for your comment!

  • Watched your 5b review and switched immediately to your 5c review once I saw the announcement that you figured out what to do with the height.

I am in the exact same spot where you are - 2 Ms, lenses - what to carry them in?

(small crumpler worked with one body and 2 lenses...)

Thank you a lot for that perfect no nonsense review.

  • @keulenclown Glad you enjoyed it and found it useful. Thanks for watching!

  • @mikemarin106 Caught you off-guard? :-) Thanks for watching and commenting...

  • @Ikaruga102 Sorry, but I'm not sure. I just sold my Canon 30D (no grip) and I doubt this bag would have been useful to carry the 30D. It's funny ... I never even tried. Now, I'm pretty sure I read about creating the two "stories" in the bag on a Canon/Nikon DSLR site, so it must be do-able. However, the bag is relatively tight in the top, esp. the way the zipper is configured. Your best bet is to try it out at a camera store. Good luck!

  • Any way this would fit a t2i with grip & small lens attached (including maybe a flash and another lens)?
