Hello Metrowash,
I found your video very interesting. I'm planning buying a Turnigy for application similar to yours (low amp battery charging).
Checking the web, it seems Turnigy has an auxiliar DC input for measuring voltages lower than 4.8v. I wonder if feeding the aux DC input will fix the issue you found.

can you make the screen on the watts up meter light up or do they sell one that lights up i am so glad i saw this video cuz i dont got money for both

Great.. i didnt hope i was right ;)
I stumbled across your vid, cuz im looking for an easy way to monitor my own solarpanels output. The Turnigy seems like a pro. and cheap solution.
Happy New Year

Let me get one thing right.. Are you unhappy with the Turnigy showing 0.03 mA less, than the first watt meter? Just to be sure, you do know that the first meter in a, is taking some of the mA right?

@ooooDanieloooo Daniel, I flipped them around in the series ( turnigy first, then watts up) and obtained similar results. The turnigy is slightly off. It;'s not off enough to alter results on most higher current applications, but 300 ma is all you're dealing on a good day with a 5 watt panel . I just use the turnigy on the load side now of larger systems , where a few hundred ma won't significantly alter calcs.
Thanks for watching
