Occupy DC protesters persist after deadline

Occupy DC protesters are not giving up the fight at McPherson Square after a "no camping" deadlines passes. Protesters erected a massive tent over the statue at McPherson Square as a response to the anticipated eviction by park police. Liz Wahl spoke to protesters at the encampment to ask them about their next move.

@Floridainfidel OWS is the lamest attempt at defiance. isn't it ironic they form a tent around a cival war statue. a war, which was the last act of pure defiance on the part of the south. their motivation is police brutality and being anti corporate, yet they say nothing about the government. even the hippies saw things more clearly than these brainwashed liberals. they need tro make themselves useful and vote ron paul.

What I'm angry about is my gov. shitting on it people. OWS does the same thing when others questen them/ may not agree with all of OWS views.
