When I go for "Choose .zip from sd card" option, there is no Virtuous Picasso displayed there.
Is it because I have not updated my honeycomb 3.0 to 3.1 first?
Is 3.1 mandatory for this?

@dawoodmunir20 connect your iconia tab to the computer and put it on the root of the sd card. It will not see it if its on the external.
