Shiny Krabby (1 of 10) at chain of 40

This is on my Platinum. The shiny patch didn't take that long to appear after 40. This Krabby has an IV of 27-28 for Atk stat wihich is pretty good considering that's 390-391 out of 394 for Attk when fully trained as a level 100 Kingler.

Shiny patches appeared at 40, 43, 46 (skipped), 48, 49 & 50, 59 (this one took forever - over 100 super repels), 60, 61, 64 (failed).

Lol the chain ended when I failed to step into the shiny patch that has the #10 shiny (whoops!). I got distracted after getting the cam and adjusted the poketch app. ARGH! I'm so mad at myself! But alas I got 3 Krabbys with IVs at 27-28. :) They'll be the 3 shiny Kinglers for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

i wish i could get a shiny, every time i try to do the poke' radar i always get the chain broke at 31, any hints?
