  • what do you guys do against tendon issues? i mean not just for OAC but bar work generally? i got tendonitis from pullups a year ago when i upped the volume from 60 to 80 reps a day and added dips, and it kept returning for months. i still don't even dare to do more than a couple max rep sets a day. thanks

  • @driver6969 Hi driver- to avoid tendonitis you need to rest it out and then start training agin slowly and then increase the workload very gradually. Also, massage the joints yourself as often a possible; CHeers.

  • @marcusbondi Hey man please i need your advice. I am capable of doing a one arm chin up from deadhang with my chin going over the bar but no way in hell i can lock myself at the top at shoulder height. I see you got that pretty smooth and clean. Ive tried one arm chin ups from the top shoulder height position to midpoint and i can"t comeback to the initial position. It hurts me so much to do this, my tendon hurts. Well, do i have to strenghten my biceps more to go high as you? Please help me

  • @Truejusticevoice Hi - Great work so far!!! - And, to get the 'shoulder height' you mention, the trick is to focus on moving your elbow as close to your lat as possible, so once you are at your 'max height', just try cranking your elbow down towards your lower lat & it shld give you more 'height' - in my exp, it's not about the bicep at that final stage. Pls let me know how u go - cheers

  • 45 ! i thought you're 25 or 30 at most

btw. does 1 arm pulls depend on how many normal (2 arms) pull ups you can do? cuz normal pullups would require endurance training rather than strength training which would seem to be more fit for 1 arm's

  • @iamacsel87 lol - thx bro. i started with lots of 2 arm pull ups often. then add small weight - 1-2 kgs. then build up gradually. also, do many one-hand pull ups, grabbing your wrist. train hard - cheers

  • My right arm got paralyzed in a car accident a few years ago and I'd like to learn this, how should I start? Obviously I can't start with 2 handed ones... any exercises I should try to begin training for this?
