Didn't think these guys could Rock Didya?
This sounds like a knocked-off flipside, It's only 1:37 and blows right by you. But I like it better than the "rainy" sounding A-side "She Was Really Never Mine (To Lose)". Too bad they didn't cut more upbeat tracks like this instead.
The Cascades were known just for one great song, but they managed to survive and also recorded for RCA, Liberty and Uni during the 60's. This is from the short-lived CRC Charter label.
And if you dig rare oldies and are sick of the crap they play on "Classic Hits" radio, check out 60's Jangle Radio at Live365.com! http://www.live365.com/stations/bgspradlin4
Very surf styled!

A little Ride the Wild Surf influence.

Yep - secret rockers. They could move it when they wanted but their niche was that softer Rhythm sound. I love thier RCA Victor output as well as the Valiant stuff - don't know this label but it's a solid little song
