Our dog was a rescue from the local animal shelter, so we don't really know his heritage. However, we have always strongly suspected he was part N.S. Duck Tolling Retriever with some German Shepard (sharper nose, triangular ears that can stand straight up). I can see our dog in the dog in this video: energetic and a sheer goof-ball and so I am more convinced than ever that our dog is part Duck Toller. (But rather than merely cute as that dog was, ours is truly HANDSOME).

i have a toller, (same dog, short name) als it has more white than this one, it's rejected for dog shows because she has to much white and things like that, but she is much cuter than this one!
