So I was being goofy, but I really do think that some sort of proposal to rename 157th might grab the attention of Sam Adams and the city commissioners (just to get the potholes filled, if nothing else).
And if you're in the front seat and feel like you're going to throw up, I strongly suggest that you try your best to avoid one of those projectile bank shots off the windshield onto the dashboard and into the heater/defroster vents. The puke probably would stink up the interior for years. :p

@Neppybutt - Actually, I was just teasing you about the silliness of Portland's priorities (such as arguing about renaming Interstate in honor of Cesar Chavez or spending lots of time and energy bickering over converting Burnside and Couch to a pair of one-ways west of the river) instead of simply repairing horrible streets such as this one (or preparing them for bike lanes). I made a tongue-in-cheek comment because I thought your video was humorous. Sad and true, but funny anyway.

Now I will be forever grateful when I drive down my streets here in LA, because none of them are as bad as that one. wow. I do need a bullet proof vest in some areas around LA, but not in my immediate vicinity thank god. HA HA! It was funny to hear you groaning. More videos please.
Haha, Neppybutt. Your commentary is really funny. It's a little difficult for me to understand you with all of those grunts and groans, but isn't this going toward Glisan, not Stark? I think that fishing lake is between Couch and Everett, but I'm not certain because I try to avoid that neighborhood.
Regardless - that "street" looks absolutely horrible! You ought to send this video to the City of Portland and suggest that they rename it "Chavez" or "Van Sant" or "Groening" Blvd. ;)

Carly, thanks for your response. You are right, it is heading toward Glisan. I love your idea for renaming the street. However, it should be one of the streets used as part of the Mayors $20 millon bicycle lane plans.
