Here We Go Again Chapter 18

Carli’s P.O.V.
“ugg who’s Idea was it to have a 4am rehearsal session again?” I asked sleepily as Nick practically carried me to the big black SUV that was taking us to the American Airlines arena in Dallas that we were using as a rehearsal space… Nick chuckled and kissed my head.

“life as a rockstar remember?” I just groaned and immediately laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes as soon as he was settled next to me.

“Cheer up we’re stopping at Starbucks on the way and there will be coffee at the arena.” I attempted a smile but judging by the laugh nick gave me, I would say I didn’t quite accomplish one..

“Good morning everyone!” Mandi said jumping into the car and scooting over so Kevin could get in the car. I lifted my head off of Nick’s shoulder and groaned again.

“she is Wayyyy to hyper for 4am…” I said burying my face into Nick’s chest. Mandi just stuck her tongue out at me.

“Where’s Joe and Kim?” Mandi Asked

“um it looks like Joe is trying to carry Kim to the car, but he looks like she’s about to trip.” Kevin replied and about 30 seconds later, I heard a scream and Kevin laughed.

“wow babe its like you’re physic.” Mandi replied and it sounded like she kissed him on the cheek. The door to the car was thrown open, I picked my head up one more time

“Kim I’m so sorry, I’m so tired I forgot about the step.” Kim laughed at joe as they both crawled into the back seat of the car.

“It’s alright Joe really,” she smiled at him and he dropped the subject. She looked at me and smiled, I just rolled my eyes and looked at joe, who glared at me. I sighed and leaned my head back on Nick’s shoulder.

“how much longer till Starbucks?” I whispered in his ear and he shivered at my breath on his neck.

“Soon Sweetheart I promise.” I smiled up at him, it was early but it amazed me how sweet he could be. I kissed him lightly on the lips, then leaned my head back on his chest, and closed my eyes.

“haha you guys have Brittany Spears Mics!!!!” I said Jumping around the huge stage laughing at The boys, who really did have Brittany spears Mics, Joe rolled his eyes and stalked off stage.

“Shut up Carli! these mics are cool!” Kevin insisted stamping his foot like a five year old, only cause me to laugh harder, although I could help but follow joe out of the arena.

“oh ignore him Lisey, he’s just in a bad mood today, you know Joe, he doesn’t do mornings.” I looked at Nick, who smiled at me reassuringly; I smiled sadly and let him wrap his arms around me. I looked up into his eyes, and burst out laughing again.

“i-I’m sorry honey, I just cant take you seriously with that Mic.” Nick rolled his eyes and playfully pushed me away.

“Hey Carli! Steve needs You to make sure that this pac will fit in your pocket or not.” I heard mandi calling from the side of the Arena. I looked up at Nick again, who huffed and looked away from me,

“I’m sorry Nick but if you saw what you looked like right now… I want to kiss you but all I see is Brittany Spears.”

“yeah yeah just go get your pac fitted.” I smiled and winked at him and ran down the stairs and over to Steve and mandi.

“don’t the guys look like Brittany spears with their mics?” I asked and the other two laughed. Steve and I were trying to pick out a Pac that would work for what I needed and still fit in my pocket.

“hey Mandi have you seen my…” My head snapped up at the sound of Kim’s voice, she trailed off as she realized I was standing there.

“oh H-hey Carli” she offered, I rolled my eyes,

“Kim please just stop talking to me, It’s bad enough that you lied to me, but now you’ve turned Joe against me? you just keep surprising me don’t you?” Kim looked at me confused.

“I didn’t turn Joe against you.” I rolled my eyes.

“you know kim I’m beginning to wonder why I was ever even friends with you, have you always lied to me?” I grabbed the pac Steve was offering me looking extremely uncomfortable, and walked off towards the stage.

Kim’s P.O.V.
I stared after Carli in amazement, I’ve never seen her this mad.

“Kim don’t take her seriously, She’ll get over this all eventually.” I looked back at Mandi,

“I don’t think she will Mandi, I’ve never seen her this mad at me, or anyone for that matter, and I don’t blame her, I should never have lied, I just wanted to save what joe and I had together, and I managed to ruin that too… I just don’t know what to do anymore.” Mandi smiled at me sympathetically,

“Just have faith hun, eventually it’ll all work out.” She put her arm around me and led me towards the stage.

“Mandi? Why did Carli say I turned joe against her?” mandi sighed and shook her head.

“yesterday when they got back, after carli was rude to you, and you went upstairs, Joe and Carli got into a fight, he blamed her for the two of you breaking up.” I looked at Mandi in shock, what is wrong with that boy?

“JOSEPH ADAM JONAS!!!!!!!!!”
