I'm still trying to figure out where you guys went to find these turkeys. Everywhere i've been seeing them in CG is all illegal places for turkey hunting. If you could let me know what mountains and roads you went to that allows hunting and where you found most of yours that would be great. thanks

where you guys at in Cottage Grove. i'm fairly fimilir with that area and out past Cottage Grove lake and i'm wanting to find some good places for turkey hunting.

Sounds like you did real well for yourself! I called in about 48 birds, Lots of them hanging up. Could of shot about 6 birds that were almost stepping on their beards, but the footage was not right. Everything changes when the camera is rolling. We have turned down many mature birds, because the footage was not perfect. Getting it on film is more important to me than the harvest alone!

Thanks for the comment! No draw tag needed for this area! General spring turkey tag, first come first serve! I hunt both private and public land, harvest birds on both!
