  • This singing is from a church service, not a school event. At school, children sing gospel hymns. This chanting is from the Gesangbuch, a hymnal from the 16th century and would not be used for a school function.

  • @sueuprising it actually is at a school event.I was personally there and recorded it.You are correct in in assuming that this kind of chanting/singing is usually done out of the Gesangbuch in church, but this song is a song about school and not found in the Gesangbuch.I went to this school for 6 years and we sang this song every year

  • @MsLuciferLover Probably you may want to fry in hell...so ladies first.

  • You all should jump off a clifff.

  • can you put up the lyrics? I can't understand it

  • Not big on melody, Mennonites. This is torporific. I mean... terrific. yeah.

  • I beleive the slower the singing, the older and more strict the Mennonite order is (so I've been told)

  • they sound very beautiful toghter
