Big sets come in about half way through the video. If you watch at 3:43 I see two people get wiped out....I was concerned and hope they didn't get hurt. Everybody got soaked at 5:09. Including myself. The reason I said, "I got Soaked Again" is because I got soaked in a previous video titled "Oahu South Swell-Decent Surf-Look-"

I tried my best to capture the moment. WOW....the news just said life guards performed 300 rescues....One diver is missing. Blessings and condolences to his family.

The left at Ala Moana is known as "Bowls" one of the hollowest surf spots because it is a man-made wave created when the channel was dredged. It is famous for it's "bowl": The wave goes super shallow and thick through it's main section.

The crowd scene in the water here is very friendly. It's almost always filled with the locals exchanging waves. Everyone likes to hang out in the parking lot after surfing, to BBQ' and share their story's. Created on August 31, 2011 by david bylsma

  • wll, i took the time and watched the whole piece. I must say you need these waves..this is really simply low so far...haha...maybe you have a home just 3 feet? watch your feet. they might be then covered by water. Sry but this is just the right starter time and you have to hopoe its getting more and higher. If not its boring. Have a great day, K
