Very nice.. I remember this very well.

@MyleneJ I have to correct myself. The food wasn't crappy, it was just the smell that managed to turn me off. The person next to me even asked "who cut the cheese" as soon as the flight attendants started serving the food. I remember eating mashed potatoes and steak by the way.

@smartkid1985 I'd like to know what you ate, United's On-board Menu has always been phenomenal, that includes their new, and rather impressive Domestic By-On-Board stuff in coach. Name me one other U.S. Airline where you can get a grilled chicken salad the size of your head in Economy.

They have this good food but manage to serve shitty food on the plane.

Holy cow! That looks super different than when I went there in 2004! Unfortunately it costs too much for international travel in Business/First, and RCC is also too much. But that looks so nice now! It is more curvey than when I relaxed in the lounge. The vid is a really good tour of the lounge! 4.5/5

This looks like an amazing lounge for a domestic carrier. Sure, its no VS clubhouse, but in some ways, i like this lounge more. I guess its another sad aspect about how United does great at everything except the actual flight itself. It's image, routes, lounges, adverts, and SOMETIMES customer service. These all are ruined however when you step onboard into the old, dirty, and uncomfortable planes that make up most of their fleet. Unrelated- the 747s look amazing in the new livery, shiny.
Hey lfyer4711, do you fly United first international often? I have have the privledge to do so a couple times. My last trip was out to Hong Kong, and I stopped in this very lounge. I really liked it, and the drink choices were great, but food was limited. What did you think?

I dont travel any more frequently but I used to. This lounge is one of the nicer ones. Food is often quite limited within the US IMHO. FCL in FRA and MUC is very nice, the new FCL in SIN as well... just my 2cents

I do avoid UA if I can - but the general logic the higher the class the more you will enjoy the flight is also valid here. Whatever your choice will be - enjoy your trip.
