Amen to this! This crock of bull quackery is just that. I hate holding therapy and wouldn't even wish it on Charles Manson . I would never wish this on anybody. I survived it and believe me when I say I'd rather smell a bulldog's ass than be put through this.

i am an adoptee and work with children, holding theropy is totaly wrong what they need is conectivity this can not be forced,see how a mother looks in her infants eyes they seem to stare this turnes one 1000 brain cells a second this state can be brought on by smell theropy then eye contacked can be made,not this holding down crap or renuncement of birth parents crap...jeff adoptee and aspie..quilifide in childcare.this is easy to do right but bad ass to do it wrong.

What are the links to the videos about holding therapy? I can't seem to find any. I would like to post more so people can see. So we can get the word out. There are a number of advocacy groups against holding therapy, namely ACT, or Advocates for Children in Therapy and A Search for Survivors. I strongly advise you and the people who watch this video to DO SOMETHING.

I AGREE!! had this done to me as a young girl. wrapped in sheets so i could not move or do anything but scream for hrs. I now have an antisocial disorder as an adult and borderline personality disorder.
