Veggies are important, yes., but what will satisfy your hunger is fruit.

  • @frodosauce Hey mate, no way of course it didn't offend me, you just got me a bit wrong, that is all.

  • @22poopoo Oh, sorry if my post offended you, though it was well intended I realize certain people may have interpreted it as harsh.

  • @frodosauce Haha #LOL no way, I was just curious about how they guy above eats! No I'm not thinking of going vegan! I think humans need meat, so long as it's good meat. I actually mainly follow a weston price tradition diet. As my lecturer says, tradiotional is never wrong.

  • @22poopoo Sounds like you're buying into the scare tactics put out by various groups, I've been down this road too. Can't eat meat, it might give me cancer. Cant eat grains, they're un natural. Can't eat dairy, its un natural. Can't eat nuts because of phytates. On and on the path goes until you go anorexic for fear of toxins in your body. If you want to go vegan, I beg you to re examine your motives for doing so. If they're fear induced, it will probably just hurt you and those around.

  • @Vegluv091 She also ate REAL meat. quote from book "I binged on beef every chance I got".

    She's a joke.

  • @larlar210 Mmm I've heard studies saying that most of the plaques causing heart disease are made from polyunsaturated oils, these turn rancid once heated such as frying. And that saturated are most stable when heating and do not go rancid thus causing problems for the body. Also what would you say about the traditional folk-lore about animal fats eg mothers giving their children teaspoons of pure lard to keep them strong. I am a proponent of weston price so so I look to traditional usage.

  • @22poopoo I'm not referencing any study from the 50's. I have a degree in dietetics, and while there are meta-analyses that claim to not find a link between saturated fats and cardiovascular disease, prior studies have listed increased consumption of saturated fats as a risk factor (much more recently than the 50's). Trans fats are the worst, but the best kind of fat is the monounsaturated.

  • @wishihadascreenname I'm not being rude here, I am genually curious, how can you not eat soy, grains AND be a vegan? What do you eat just veg and nuts? I say this because I try and avoid grains unless they are properly prepared, I eat meat but don't want to have too much protein so some days i don't have meat. But on these days I truly am at a loss as what to eat. If i just have veg then I'm still hungry. I do have dairy if it's unpasturised and organic and full fat, but only occasionaly.

  • @larlar It's not sure when they did that study in the 50s they included trans fats in the same catagory as saturated. it was the trans hydrogenated oils which did the damage not the saturated! People are slowly starting to realise that now...before the 50s people knew saturated fat was good for us, its just been a blip in time. We need to eat real tradition foods with traditional values. Red meat is "buolding" in traditional language. The old books say eat little of meat (not no) and lots of veg
