In 2000, the journal Technical Physics Letters published a paper by V. V. Roschin and S. M. Godin of the Institute for High Temperatures, Russian Academy of Science, but the authenticity of the paper from Roschin and Godin cannot be verified. The webpage of the Russian Academy of Sciences does not list the authors or the paper.

In 2004 it was reported that the paper from Roschin/Godin is a forgery, created to support a fraud. The editors of Technical Physics Letters apologized for publishing it.

@Nomasain whether matter is created or destroyed, the conservation of energy law is maintained, the energy just changes its form into different packets. Even the energy that produced our universe has been already existent and originated perhaps from different universes that preceded ours. The energy constantly fluctuates it is never created out of nothing or destroyed into zero value. If I blew up the whole planet, the energy would still be conserved. Nature works this way.
