bach = small, little ie little idris + idris bach

Can someone tell me what "bach" means? They keep saying it after addressing a character. Eg. "Idris bach".

I was brought up on Ivor the Engine was I was little growing up in Llanelli

My local chippy owner know me very well, he still wraps mine in newspaper and bags it up to hide it.
The newspaper gives it a proper smell and taste. god bless the man!
The health reason for banning it was based on the fact that newspaper inks were sometimes mixed with urine as a fixing agent..
That died out decades before the ban. health and safety agency= fun police
