Imagine trying to tell these people that GM and Chrysler are going to almost go out of business in about 40 years. They would look at you and laugh.

Y'know, Detroit was a beautiful city that has fallen on very hard times. But instead of flinging out racial crap, why not grow up and offer some solutions. My idea to make Detroit, and MICHIGAN, prosperous again is to BRING BACK EVERY JOB THAT THE BIG THREE SHIPPED TO MEXICO, INDIA AND CHINA.

Before any blasts unions, remember that ALMOST EVERYONE had a good paying job with them.

@airdriver It was BECAUSE of unions that Big 3 had to ship of jobs to Mexico, India and China. Educate yourself before commenting.

Detroit born and love the city but who wants to raise their kids in hell? It will never change until people stop fighting each other and realize who the true enemy is.

Actions speak louder than words.If your white try walking just downtown with some of your white friends 9 out 10 blacks will give you some type intimidating look..as if there saying "What u white folks doin here" Its almost as if they are saying "We finally own something, lets keep it this way"  They let this sense of greed cloud their better judgment and then you get decay, because the people are to concerned with whats "theirs" U can't move forward if your thinking backwards

@airdriverits easier to say that because a handful of people are saying blacks this and blacks that its white who are being racist;the reality is its the blacks of Detroit who want nothing to do with White people.They hired and voted racists council members who want nothing more then to preserve"Black Power" in Detroit, keep it black.. They don't have to say it, its in there tones, actions and decisions. Ad thing is many of the black citizens don't want white people in "their"city

@airdriver How many people are in Detroit? How many jobs that can be located in Detroit would there be if The Big Three made them available? I just don't think it would be enough but it would certainly be a start. However we cannot dictate what companies do. What we can do is find the type of business that will work in Detroit. What that business is however I do not know.
