VERY NICE, It sounds like a studio recording for the audio. If not, how did you get such a great reverby sound and vocal guitar mix live???

@loyseugene You guessed! The audio is a home recording which I added as soundtrack to the video. A bit fiddly but I wanted a better sound mix than I normally get by recording everything straight to the Mac video camera. (That's not cheating is it?)

@gdshepp Thanks for your kind comments. Didn't I speak with you at the London Acoustic Guitar show last month? Just visited your channel and subscribed - I love your videos and the guitar(s) sound lovely.

I haven't been rplaying or singing much since last December as I had a serious illness which lasted 4 months, but I feel fine now and am back practising like mad. Hope to post some new videos soon if I can get together some words for the tunes I have.

@PJE1962 yes, originally, but I may have changed the verses around. Cara Dillon's lovely version has a completely new third verse.

I came by this video by pure chance, and I just want to say that it is a beautiful interpretation of a beautiful song. It reminded me of last summer when a friend moved to Idaho, we had a bonfire and we all sang this as a parting gift. Needless to say, there were tears rolling down our eyes. Thank you for such a beautiful cover, and keep up the awesome work.
