Nope! Not even close to being even accurate, I could list 20 Guitar players who are better players, with better tone, and have more money than you. If you don't like EMG's thats fine, but don't say something as ignorant as EMG's in a Les Paul is useless, LOL, your opinion is useless~!!

@1212Kozak btw putting EMG's in a Les Paul is one of the most useless and stupidest things you could possible, you can put EMG's into any guitar and it would sound the same its a waste of a les paul u might as well go buy a cheap LTD and put EMG's in that nothing beats the classic Gibson tones

@1212Kozak it doesn't even matter, not all metal players use active pickups...les paul for metal? try lamb of god(watch the dvd's that show their pre-production process), trivium = matt = les paul.

Just so you guys know, the guitar Paul was using is an Epiphone Les Paul Custom with Alnico pickups (based loosely on Gibsons 57 Classics). I had this exact guitar for a couple years and I can tell you with all certainty that if that amp sounded THAT good with that guitar, imagine what a guitar like a Jackson or ESP would sound like through it. That guitar isnt doing that amp justice but it still sounded amazing. Looks like its time to mothball the Mesa MKIV again and get an Engl Fireball!!!
