Marjorie demonstrates how to do simple, in-house mending of books, and how to tie books that can't be repaired in house or sent out for re-binding. There might be a more "archivally correct" way to do this, but this is how we do it at URI. Our goal is simply to make the information available to our patrons. We're not working with rare books here. Filmed June 26, 2008 in the Technical Services Department of the University of Rhode Island Library, Kingston, RI 02881.
