Barack Obama is the president-elect!

By the way, for those who may not know, the audio is from Gerald Ford's speech upon assuming the presidency after Richard Nixon's resignation. Since George W. Bush has proven to be one of the most incompetent men to hold the office of president *and* has managed to slip below Nixon and others to become the most unpopular president in American history, the late President Ford's words seemed especially appropriate here.

  • Yeah, how's this one working out for you? He's worse than the previous one. He's also as much of a war-monger if not more so. What a fraud the 2-party system is.

  • @TheBoneman76 "Yeah, how's this one working out for you?"

    Well. Not perfect, of course.

"He's worse than the previous one."

    Nonsense.

"He's also as much of a war-monger if not more so."

That must be why he's bringing the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan to an end, why he put the U.S. in a secondary role in the Libyan conflict, and has tended to look to diplomacy rather than military force on the international stage. That's how a warmonger behaves, isn't it? Oh, wait. It's not!

  • @ProfMTH Then there are all the conflicts they are going to start in African nations. BTW, what diplomacy are you talking about?? This dude didn't even go before congress before involvement in Lybia or sending troops to Uganda. Nor will he when they begin attacking Syria and ultimately Iran (likely following Israel's lead). At least, as bad a Bush was, he went before congress before the Iraq war. Don't get me wrong, you won't get anything different from Hillary, Perry, Romney, Cain, etc.

  • @TheBoneman76 "There is no 'conflict' in Iraq, just an occupation, and Afghanistan is a total disaster."

I agree that Afghanistan is a disaster. That doesn't change the fact the President Obama is bringing American combat operations in that country to a close. As for Iraq, call it what you like, but the President is winding it down.

On what basis are your claiming that the United States is preparing to go to war against Syria and Iran?

  • (con't) @TheBoneman76 "I do enjoy your videos on the bible. They are very well done."

    Thanks.

  • @ProfMTH He's not bringing combat operations in Afghanistan to a close. Not even by a long-shot. As for war in Syria and Iran, have you been paying attention, even to the mainstream media lately? Even they are running stories about it. It's always been "in the cards." I could post 20+ links to news sources showing the build-up. You don't recognize the "nuclear threat" rhetoric that is similar to the garbage excuses to go into Iraq?

  • @ProfMTH BTW, before I respond (and thank you for responding), I do enjoy your videos on the bible. They are very well done. Now, as for ending the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.... There is no "conflict" in Iraq, just an occupation, and Afghanistan is a total disaster. The withdrawl from Iraq is a hoax because at least 5000 or more troops will be left behind along with all the private contractors to maintain the occupation and gear-up for wars with Syria and Iran.

  • And the nightmare begins!

  • Our long national nightmare was only beginning...

if it weren't for the war, there'd have been nothing to complain about re the Bush administration. Spending would have been less, social unrest wouldn't have been a siginificant factor and unemployment was significantly lower than it is now.

Face it... Obama is an incompetent boob who has run us into near default, has no clue on foreign affairs and is so radical he cannot 'bring people together' as he promised. Obama is a FAILURE.

I'm a staunch democrat. Internationally Labor-liberal parties are in red, Tory-conservative parties are in blue. My comment had to do with that, not actually commenting on the nature of either party.
