  • Thank, thanks a lot. Your father Alex was one of the best and diligently musician, always helps to bring people together and promoting folk music everywhere.

    I remember many nights in the"Vognhjulet" "Wagon Wheel" in Copenhagen, and many good weeks at festivals where Alex was always good for a song.

    Honor him be memorial forever.

  • Love this song. Alex borrowed my guitar at an Edinburgh club in 1966 while he had a string changed. I still have the guitar

  • @TheAMCampbell Always the climax of his performance, he would introduce this song to an intimidated audience by saying that "twice in my life I have witnessed the rape of Czechoslovakia". Heaven help anyone who spoke!

    You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. I am sure that my attitude to politicians - those CHEATS who would take us to war again - was influenced by him and by Orwell and Steinbeck whose books I was reading at that time.

    The performance was so RAW. Well, he had had a couple.
